Smokey Town
Smokey Town is a short film I created and directed with the contribution of a bunch of amazing friends.
It's fully 2D animated film with puppet rigs . You can watch the trailer bellow.

Thanks to stretch and other tricks , it was possible to turn the heads and make it look like 3D.

Rigs were made by Daniela Fischer.

Over the years I expanded the world of Smokey Town into a much bigger universe. 
Developing the initial simple story into a complex lore where mythological creature living among alchemists and kings.

A picture book is currently in the writing. Bringing the tales of Smokey Town on paper.

I tried to expand the universe from the macro to the micro. Building a cohesive world from politics to trading cards collection.

In 2018, Smokey Town had a 3D short film adaptation made by the talented teams at SpaceSheep (Annecy, France).
